Ehsaan Noorani, an acclaimed Indian guitarist, is the artist behind several blockbuster Hindi film albums. He is a part of a hugely successful trinity, SEL (Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy) - India's towering presence in the field of cinematic music and composition. He's considered to be India's most prominent guitarist, with one-of-a-kind guitar riffs. Ehsaan is the only Indian musician to have endorsed a signature line, "The Ehsaan Noorani Fender Squier" series, for one of the most reputed guitar manufacturers worldwide. He has been in bands since high school and has always had a keen interest in blues. In 1985, he moved to the US to attend the Guitar Institute of Technology (now the Musicians Institute) in LA, where he studied under legends he used to idolize. He entered the film and commercial industry in India soon after he returned in 1986, and met Shankar Mahadevan and Loy Mendonsa to form SEL. Since the beginning, the SEL trio has ruled over the Indian film industry and continues to create magic with their craft. Although Ehsaan has experimented with different styles of music, including rock, metal, classical, country, and electronic, his passion continues to lie with blues.
